We are extremely proud to finally launch ‘The Gold Of The Andes’ for The Inoue Brothers. A project we have worked on for a while, together with the brothers Sato & Kiyo, to capture their journey to source the most luxurious materials in the world. Our directors Roby Kikic & Joppe Rog did an amazing job filming on 4500 meters surviving the altitudes. We are also blessed to have worked with Sorenious Bonk who did the sound-design. Lastly we want to thank MB! by Mercedes-Benz who supported us throughout the whole journey with much patience and belief.
Simplicity is the zeitgeist of the Present Plus. That, in itself, isn’t exactly some kind of secret. However, since we helped build WeTransfer and the elegant wallpaper gallery Kuvva, you would think that we would have weighed in at some point on why simplicity is, simply, the bee’s knees.
Sharing creativity is what we do. So, it was with great excitement that we were able to open the byBorre Flat exhibit last night at Gallery 33. Our space was absolutely packed with visitors eager to see Borre’s unique collection–we even siphoned a few curious visitors from the street who at first seemed eager to get to the Amsterdam fashion show, but were quickly hypnotized by Borre’s incredible work and stayed a while.
Were happy to announce that tonight is the public opening of the Flat: byBorre exhibition at Gallery 33.
Borre Akkersdijk, founder of byBorre and 2012 winner of the Dutch Design award, MINI Young Designer, will take over Gallery 33 from January 23-February 24, 2012. Visitors are welcome to get hands-on experience cutting scarves from byBorre-patterned blankets exclusive to the exhibit.
We are proud to announce the release of the documentary Stanley Kubrick & Hardy Amies: 2001: A Space Odyssey–When Fashion and Future Collides. Built in collaboration with Savile Row fashion house Hardy Amies over the course of last year, the film celebrates the ground breaking costume work by Sir Hardy Amies on Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey. You can read more about the collaboration in our press release and watch the film on the Hardy Amies website.
It appears as though in the last 30 days we set ourselves the challenge of trying to do as many things as is humanly possible. And, if we do say so ourselves, we did it splendidly.
